Lifeguarding

The American Lifeguarding Training course is a program that provides lifeguards with the skills and knowledge they need to perform their duties effectively. The course covers a wide range of topics, including water rescue techniques, first aid, CPR, and AED use. Upon completion of the course, lifeguards will be able to confidently respond to emergencies and provide care to those in need.

The American Lifeguarding Training course is offered by the American Red Cross and is recognized as the gold standard in lifeguard training. The course takes approximately 30 hours to complete and can be taken in a classroom or online.

Classroom courses are led by certified instructors and provide hands-on experience that cannot be replicated online. Online courses are self-paced and can be completed at the student's convenience. However, online students will not have access to an instructor for questions or assistance.

Both classroom and online courses include a written exam that must be passed in order to receive certification. Upon successful completion of the exam, students will receive a digital certificate that is valid for two years.
