American Red Cross Junior Lifeguarding Training Course Information

The American Red Cross offers a Junior Lifeguarding training course for students who are interested in becoming lifeguards. This course is designed for students who are at least 15 years old and have a strong swimming ability. The course will teach students the skills they need to become certified lifeguards.


The American Red Cross Junior Lifeguarding training course includes the following topics:

- Water rescue skills
- First aid
- CPR/AED
- Lifesaving principles
- Emergency systems
- Professional rescuer techniques
- Swimming
- Use of rescue equipment



The American Red Cross Junior Lifeguarding training course is a great way for students to learn the skills they need to become certified lifeguards. The course covers a variety of topics, including water rescue skills, first aid, CPR/AED, lifesaving principles, emergency systems, professional rescuer techniques, swimming, and use of rescue equipment. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certificate from the American Red Cross that is valid for two years.
